Wrought Iron Series

For the past four months I have dedicated my painting practice to creating a series of images of wrought iron railings in the Upper West Side of Manhattan.   The idea for this series has been percolating in my mind for a long time - for years I have taken pictures of railings, most often in the slating light of spring and fall.    Here is the most recent painting.
